The food is authentic Salvadorean, it is very good, especially the pupusas, platanos frito and tamales!

These are hands down the best pupusas (besides my moms) I've had from a restraunt! We placed a phone order for Moms bday and they were ready for us when we arrived and they were soo delicious and not super greasy like every other place I've tried!

I'm VERY strict when it comes to salvadorean food, cause well, I'm salvadorean and in all fairness, I spent my entire life learning how to reach the exact flavor for all my recipes, and when it comes to american salvadorean, majority of places don't make my cut. This place tho, I have to say is one of those few hidden gems that are really worth the hype. Everythibg I have tried from here is worth it: pupusas, desayunos tipicos, chocolate con leche, sopa de res, tamales, you name it. The staff is so kind and attentive, and the unit where this business is located is pretty spacious, ddcorated with beautiful hancrafted artwork from El salvador. The closest flavor from back home indeed, 10/10 recommended.

Let me start off by saying i'm not salvadoran but I've come to really appreciate this country through its food and its people. When I've come here with my family the first thing we receive is a nice greeting and get told to sit whenever we'd like. The server comes to our table pretty fast and is very open to being asked questions. The ambiance in the place is like being inside of a small beach hut it's lovely. Food takes great and it comes out as soon as it's off the stove/grill. The quality of the atol de elote is something that I haven't been able to find in any other place. Will continue to return.

The pupusas are really good, the plate combinations they offer are awesome. You can get pupusas, yucca firta, and other items in a plate for a great price. The horchata is actual salvi horchata which is awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful but at lunch time it can take a little longer than usual for the food to be ready. The look and feel of the place is tropical beach vibes which goes with the theme of the restaurant. I would recommend to anyone.

La Jamaya is my family's favorite local Salvadorean restaurant. We often cater from here for Christmas and other special events. My parents are both born and raised in El Salvador, and after traveling there several times myself, I can definitely say that this restaurant is both authentic and delicious. Here are my favorite menu items: 1. Pupusa de revuelta 2. Tamale de pollo 3. Yucca frita 4. Atole de elote 5. Pastelitos de carne 6. Empanadas de plátano (filled with sweet cream) 7. Ensalada (beverage) 8. Quesadilla (pan dulce) I'm personally not a big soda fan, but the cola champagne is a popular Salvadorean drink that's also worth trying. I usually order one of the platos typicos in order to try a little bit of everything. If you're in the mood for breakfast, they have plenty of plates to choose from so you can try the plátanos fritos, casamiento, refried beans, and tasty cheeses and sour cream. I'm getting hungry now, so I'll stop here :) I can't wait to come back!
